This daybed sofa is designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by France & Daverkosen in Denmark in the 1950s. It is a known design, but this piece is not labelled, because they were not always labelled. The daybed is a good example of high end quality materials and manufacturing. We have replaced the cushions and fabric; the frame is original. The new fabric is a high quality felt wool fabric: Divina by Kvadrat. This daybed is in solid teak and in very good condition.
