Midcentury Danish daybed in teak and leather by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Søn 1960s
This daybed is designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by France & Søn in Denmark in the 1960s. There is a label by the manufacturer. The daybed is a good example of high quality materials and manufacturing. The frame, the legs and the headrest are in solid teak. The connections to the headrest are in chrome. The cushions have the original aniline leather - the highest quality leather. This natural leather breathes well.
The comfort when lying on the daybed is very good. This is a stunning piece in any interior! The daybed is in solid teak and aniline leather - both in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood and leather treatments. The leather shows a few superficial scratches. This daybed is ready to use.
