Midcentury Danish sideboard in teak by Johannes Andersen for Uldum 240cm
Midcentury Danish sideboard in teak by Johannes Andersen for Uldum 240cm
This sideboard is designed by Johannes Andersen and manufactured by Uldum in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a known model with its typical drawer handles and rolling doors in the middle. There are beautiful drawings in the wood. It is a true masterpiece!
The sideboard shows very good quality manufacturing and materials. The 2x4 drawers on the sides are well balanced in the overall design. Inside the top drawers there is always an inner drawer. We have added new black velvet inlay in all the drawers.
Behind the rolling doors the sideboard offers 4 shelves. The right lower shelf is less deep, so you can fit higher items (e.g. bottles). Also the back of the sideboard has been finished in teak, so you can use it as a room divider. This sideboard is made of teak and is in excellent condition due to the renown Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments.
