Midcentury Danish sofa set in oak and teak by Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen for France & Daverkosen - with new fabric
This original set of 2 easy chairs and a 2-seater sofa is designed by Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen and manufactured by France & Daverkosen in Denmark in the 1950s. It is a known design, but rare to find, especially a set. The design is refined in every detail.
The frames are in solid wood: oak with teak armrests. The way the rounded teak armrests fit into the refined oak frame is remarkable. The cushions are new in high quality cold foam reupholstered in a beautiful, textured grey fabric by De Ploeg. The supports under the seat cushions are still good to use. This sofa set is in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments.
