This PK22 chair is designed by Poul Kjaerholm in 1956 and manufactured by Kold Christensen in Denmark in the 1960s. There is a logo stamped in the frame by the original manufacturer. In 1957 the PK22 lounge chair was awarded the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale. Poul Kjaerholm had a fascination for steel and a love of natural products. The frame is in steel with rattan seat. This chair has been preserved very well. The wicker seat has no visible loose ends. This PK22 chair is original and in very good condition.
