Midcentury Danish pair of Paper Knife chairs in teak by Kai Kristiansen for Magnus Olesen 1960s
This pair of Paper Knife chairs is designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Magnus Olesen in Denmark in the 1960s. The name ‘Paper Knife’ refers to the shape of the arm rests. This known model by Kai Kristiansen is very popular. It is a compact easy chair that gives a lot of comfort.
The original frame is made of solid teak. The cushions and fabric are new. For the reupholstery we have chosen a beautiful high quality textured grey fabric by De Ploeg. The supports under the seat cushion are still good to use. There is a logo by the manufacturer stamped in the wood. This pair of easy chairs is in very good condition due to the renown Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments.
